When I think of romanticizing your life, I think of doing something that makes your experience of life delightful. What comes to your mind when you see or hear those words? The truth is, this is a concept that will mean different things to different people. One common theme seems to be making changes in the way you experience your everyday life that are authentic to who you, that reflect your values (conventional or not) and make your life more pleasing to you. Watch these videos for more discussion on this topic... The true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life. - William Morris The second video is my favorite, though the first one felt more realistic. When I am either sick or depressed, I'd never be able to accomplish everything she did in the second video. But I loved how pretty everything was, and how magical she made life. Both videos inspired me. Did they you? I'm not sure how many good changes I can make in my current living situation, but asking what might be possible is a good place to start. I encourage you, too, to pause for a moment and ask what you might want and what might be possible when it comes to having a romanticized life. See you next time! love, Jeanine

I know, right? Well, if you end up looking into it further, let me know what you think.

Asking what is possible helps the path unfurl. I enjoyed what I watched of each video. I might get my daughter one of those "tea house" gadgets. So sweet (and yes, romantic-life looking!) As I begin planning my next location era. I also will be learning a new way to live in a smaller space. I have been so spoiled AND I welcome the chance to learn and grow as I go.

YES, I think you're right, Julie! That's why I am sort of holding the question lightly right now, to see what unfolds. And I also have an upcoming change in location. Wishing a magical shift for you!

Nadya, I'd love to know more about your new place. Especially what you love about it! Maybe in a blog post?

I'm with you Jeanine, I can't see me doing the things in the second video, I like to just crawl in a dark, quiet corner with a fluffy blanket when I'm not feeling well. I also don't see me wanting to make any pleasing changes, I'm just going one day at a time.
