I'm calling this month Mindful May. And for the next 7 days, I will be posting a mindfulness meditation here each day. As healers and light priestesses, our mission is to be present as our most authentic selves, our inner goddess self. So our ability to be mindful is important, as is using meditation to connect to our divinity. So come back each day around this time and let's meditate! Day One: Guided MeditationSit comfortably in a quiet, safe place. Let your shoulders release, and your belly soften. Breathe quietly in and out through your nose. And let yourself enjoy the fact that you are doing this. You're here, you're present, and you’ve begun this sacred process of watching your breath. Of all the things you could be doing, you have chosen to prioritize this moment of stillness. This moment of peace. Set an intention, to remain present with your breathing. Take 3 slow, deep breaths, releasing each breath as you are ready. If there are any tense places in your body, breathe into them and let them relax. Send peace to those moments. Stay with your breathing until you feel complete. And return to it any time you need it. Congratulations for starting, restarting or continuing your meditation practice.
